Altona Green Primary School is divided into four houses: Blue, Red Green and Yellow.
Students are allocated a house when they join our school. All children of the same family belong to the same house. There are House Captains and Vice Captains.
House points may be awarded for participating in a wide range of activities such as:
- Premiers Reading Challenge
- Sporting activities
- Maths Challenge
- Promoting our school’s values
- Class activities
The aim of the house system is to allow a cross-section of the school, from Prep to Year 6, to work together and be acknowledged as a team.
At the end of the year, the House with highest number of points will enjoy a special activity together.
